Dallas Blooms

I went to Dallas Blooms at the Dallas Arboretum a few weeks ago, while my friend Jill was visiting. I've heard of it every year but never actually gone.  It really is pretty spectacular, there are tulips in every color by the thousands.  It was gorgeous. I got some pretty good photos. I've uploaded some of my favorites for you to see.  There are a bunch of them so I apologize in advance!!  They aren't edited or cropped or anything, I'm still working on that part.  Enjoy!!

This is Ferdenand the bull.  He was over 12 feet tall. It comes from a really cute children's story.  I thought Penny might appreciate this!

These flowers grew in Chile like crazy! I've never seen them anywhere else.  It made me really happy to see them again!

  1. These are gorgeous pictures Kristin! And I really like the new background to your blog. It is very you. I miss flowers and actually thinking of springtime. I woke up this morning looked out my window and saw giant flakes of snow falling. I'm wearing a beanie and gloves today and it's April 13th!!! Ahhh

I just keep thinking that in 2 weeks I'll be in El Salvador!! In the heat. I'll probably be too hot! Bring it on!

  2. Kristin, those are fantastic pictures! You should definitely get some enlarged and printed and framed. I love the colors. Penny does think they're so beautiful, she said.

I just can't get over the colors and the uniqueness of all the flowers. They all look great!
